Many food retailers now require an ANSI 'Certificate Of Compliance' before listing a product for sale. Retailers/manufacturers are currently demanding that barcodes achieve ANSI 'C' grade or better. Printers and manufacturers can use Barcode Graphics Final Certificates Of Compliance to confirm that their final or near-final packaging achieves ANSI 'C' grade. Interim Certificates on the other hand, can be used upstream to test that art-boards and final-film are within specification.

The reflectance profiles provided with the certificates are also very effective when diagnosing production problems. ScanRight™ Interim Certificates Of Compliance can be used to more accurately determine the quality of any UPC in dispute situations, or as a highly accurate second opinion when a UPC achieves a borderline 'C-D' grade.

Final Certificates Of Compliance and Interim Certificates Of Compliance are produced using the Axicon, Autoscan II™, QC™650, and Webscan verifiers (running ScanRight InHouse™, and Scanalyst™). Reflectance profiles can be included. All verifiers used for Certification are backed by manufacturer compliance certificates, and are calibrated from traceable ANSI Calibration Standards.
